Get a professional thorough assessment.    A combination of postgraduate academic qualifications and nearly twenty years of experience dealing with different sports, occupational and exercise related problems mean you get a professional result.

Discover what's "driving" your pain to get rid of it for good.  Some health practitioners focus only on the sore spot which can be a mistake because they might miss an important part of picture. The reality is that your body functions as a complete unit not a single joint or muscle.  Everything is connected to everything else.  I assess your body as a whole to see if there are other things going on that might be aggravating the situation.  Sometimes you'll find that different pains in your body actually come from the same  cause or "driver".  When you identify the driver and then fix it there can often be significant improvement.

Get effective treatment that hits all the right spots.   At times the hands on treatment is wonderfully soothing and relaxing but sometimes I've got to get in there and work the area more firmly.  If there are parts of your body that feel like stiff rubber mixed with concrete and iron bars, then it can take a fair bit of energy to work into it and it's not always comfortable.  But it's a "good" pain if you know what I mean.   Like it's on the right spot.  I often use dry needling because it helps to soften the top layers and I can use my hands to get in deeper. Many of us have a bit of a phobia about needling but it really doesn't hurt very much at all.  You can learn more about dry needling here. 

Learn what to do (and what to not do) to get better as quickly as possible.   Get clear instructions about posture, movement, lifting and how to set up your work environment so you get to control pain not the other way round.   Turn everyday activities into opportunities to practice functional exercises so you get pain free results quicker.

Receive all the tools you need to keep your body pain free, supple and healthy for life.  As you start to feel better its time to consider your long term health.  I will help you put together a personal "toolkit" of equipment and techniques that you can use to effectively become your own therapist and stop problems returning later on.
